Text Box: **** Pharaoh Pharaoh is a game that is set in ancient Egypt.  In each mission, you must build a city that meets certain criteria for success.  Usually, you will have to build some sort of monument (such as a pyramid or obelisk) along with the city.  This game is not designed so much for action as it is for pure entertainment.  In the process of going through the campaign, you will learn about ancient Egypt: its history, industry, commerce, religion, and culture.  Coupled with the Cleopatra expansion, the game takes you from the raw beginnings of a tribal nation to the construction of Alexandria and the rule of Cleopatra, queen of the Nile.  The graphics in the game are bright and colorful, and the storyline is captivating.  This game is not designed, however, for people who are impatient; a great deal of time must be spent simply waiting for your workers to complete the tasks that you assign to them.  This game will provide hours of entertainment.  In addition to the campaign, the game also provides several stand-alone missions and a campaign edition that allows you to design your own maps and program your own missions.  I found this game to be very enjoyable.
