Text Box:  ***** Homeworld Homeworld is a fully 3 dimensional game of combat between fleets of space ships. Not only are the ships 3 dimensional, but the playing area is fully 3 dimensional. This adds some interesting new aspects to the tactics of the game. Instead of piloting an individual ship like a flight simulator (as is the case with most space ship combat games), you are in control of a fleet of ships. Each mission is waged in a different type of space "terrain", and the type tactics needed to accomplish the mission are completely different in each real-time scenario. Instead of simply charging into combat, you have to think and devise a new strategy for each tactical situation. This is the most interesting and challenging PC game I have encountered to date.
